GC selective detectors such chemiluminescence (SCD, NCD) and flame/pulsed flame photometric (FPD, PFPD) are used in concert with GC-FID to simultaneously determine the boiling point distribution attributable to carbon, sulfur and nitrogen in refinery streams, finished products and crude oil itself.

We offer analyzers that incorporate these detectors to either complement existing standard simulated distillation test methods or for those based on the detection technique; ex. ASTM D5623, ASTM D7041, ASTM D7807.
