Simulated Distillation Analyzers
Simulated distillation (SimDis) is a widely accepted means to quickly and accurately determine the
to true boiling (TBP) point distribution of crude oil and petroleum refining fractions by gas chromatography.
Separation Systems' simulated distillation analyzers deliver fast, accurate results and are compliant with all of the current and proposed methods from ASTM, EN and other international standards organizations. Our SimDis® analyzers typically include the Agilent 7890 or 6850 GC (although other GC can be substituted), automatic liquid sampler, our patented SimDis Inlet®, analysis column, flame ionization detector (FID) and/or selective detectors along with our leading SimDis Expert® software. And, unlike GC manufacturers who only guarantee their hardware and software from defects, we guarantee our GC analyzers will produce the measurements you require.
